These Terms govern your access to and use of Owny. By using Owny, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Owny as a creator. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws in your location.
2. Creator Content License
Creators retain ownership of their original content. By using Owny, creators grant Owny a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, transform, and distribute generated storefront and product pages for operation of the service.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Storefronts and product content may be generated by AI from creator public videos and related public metadata. AI output may contain errors or omissions, and creators are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publication.
4. Payments and Fees
Stripe processes payments and payouts. Owny charges platform fees according to your plan. Creators receive the remaining amount after platform fees and processor fees.
5. Prohibited Content
You may not use Owny for illegal content, fraud, infringement, harassment, or deceptive practices. Medical and financial claims require appropriate disclosures and applicable compliance from the creator.
6. Termination
Owny may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or operational risk to the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owny is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, profits, or data.
